A pretty normal week considering how much of a beatdown my work was, with overtime every day save Friday.  My streak of focusing on Kiwillius has continued as I make my way through a longer playthrough, though if I keep this up I’ll be through it before the end of next week.  I’m thinking that I’m going to start up Hilda again to try and stretch it out and see how that show treats me, as I have been encouraged strongly to try it again and give it a bit longer of a setup window before deciding if it’s actually not my thing.

My progress on Gideon la Novena has continued at its pretty fast clip, with me hitting about the halfway mark now.  I should be through it in the next few weeks, and after that I’ve got a couple of choices fluttering around for what to read next.  I’m probably going to give the next in the Idhún books a shot rather than jumping back to La Rueda del Tiempo, but we’ll see.

As we’ve finished off September, let’s look back on it as a whole.

  • Total Watching/Listening: 21 tv episodes and 34 youtube videos watched, 1,530 minutes
  • Total Reading: 1/2 whole books read, 1,800 minutes
  • Total Writing: 0 words written, 0 minutes
  • Total Speaking: reading out loud, 600 minutes
  • Total Time: 55 hours 30 minutes

And here’s the breakdown for money spent.

  • Netflix Subscription Standard HD Plan, Television and Movie Streaming, $10.99 per month, $10.99
  • Disney+ Subscription, Television and Movie Streaming, $6.99 per month, $6.99
  • Amount Spent on Services: $17.98
  • Total Spent: $17.98

A pretty normal month without a ton to comment on.  I haven’t had any major shakeups over the course of it, I don’t think, with work busy and me largely just keeping my head low and working through.  The grind has definitely impacted my writing, though, with me barely getting any work done at all on projects that really don’t seem to be going anywhere, with a grand total of 4,451 words for the month.  This vexes me.

This upcoming week is going to be slightly unusual, as after the grind of September, I decided to take a long weekend, so I only worked Monday, and am now taking a six-day recharge break.  It’s much needed from work, and I’m hoping to reevaluate and adjust what I’m working on for writing, plus get some other personal projects that I’ve been putting off.  We’ll see how that goes.

Anyway, that’ll do for this one, TTFN.
