A rather normal week, despite birthdays coming and going.  I don’t tend to do much in the way of pomp for birthdays normally, so I ended up just working through mine (though in truth I’d attempted to take mine off, but there wasn’t the time available on my actual birthday for my request to be approved, which is a little lame, but I wasn’t bent out of shape about it).  As a result, nothing terrible special or different from how it usually goes.

I am hitting the part that most people really say wtf about when it comes to Voltron, and thus far I definitely see all the threads starting to unravel around the show.  I plan on finishing it out, which should likely be this following week, and might have more cogent feelings on it then.  Thus far it’s been mostly fine, just with really questionable writing decisions, which have continued to mount.  As I’m nearing the wrap up for it, I’m planning on following it with the Masters of the Universe show that all the fragile manbabies have been screaming SJW over, then since it’s so short, I think I’m going to do a rewatch of Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc., a show that I watched and was rather impressed by several years ago before starting this project and have been wanting to see again.  Something might jump out in the meantime, though.

I’ve been idly toying with the idea of getting a VPN service so I could potentially watch some of these services I pay for with a geolocation set in a Spanish-speaking country.  Someone I follow on Twitter was talking about the new Animaniacs being available in Spanish on HBO Max now, which is likely true for him in Mexico, but isn’t true for me, and dammit, I want to see that.  Especially if it meant I’d get all the stuff on HBO Max or Hulu suddenly available in Spanish.  I dunno, not really looking to add on the cost of another service like that at the moment, but might be worth it, if only as an experiment for a little while.  We’ll see, still considering.
