A relatively normalish week.  The weekend was another busy one, where I barely go anything done on Sunday thanks to lots and lots of activities that kept me out of the house most of the day.  Not sweating it, as those activities were fun and rewarding.

After finishing up the first season of Voltron, I returned to Tangled, and I’m feeling refreshed by the break and don’t feel bogged down seeing the rest of the series through to the end.  The finale’s coming up pretty soon, as I only have eight episodes remaining.  The Tuesday this blog is going live, my day is a bit on the odd side as I have some appointments that led me to taking time off from work, so I can’t say for sure if I’ll be expecting to get through to the end by Friday.  If not, it’ll definitely be before next week’s out.  After that, I plan on resuming where I left off with Voltron and perhaps see that through all the way to the end next.

Cielo en Llamas also progresses at its usual sedate pace.  I find myself kind of itchy in this series as it goes on, because for the most part it’s fine, and the plots have gotten more interesting as it’s gone on, but I’m really not fond of how the women characters are written in it, so I find myself frequently annoyed and frustrated with it.  Part of me feels like I shouldn’t complain after the near-aneurysm I had over the stupid love triangle in the first Idhún book, but this is definitely a more slow-burn frustration.

Anyway, that’s all I really have for this week, everything else is just progressing onwards. TTFN.
