So overall a rather normal week, even considering the long weekend.  I had a half day of work on Christmas Eve, which was a pretty like workload, so I got through my planned reading over the course of that half day.  As a result, I just treated it like a normal weekday.  Friday was full on weekend for me, so that’s the only real departure from how things would normally look.  Reading, as normal, doesn’t have much worth commenting on.  Progress continues on El Dragón Renacido, which is limping toward the 2/3rds mark.  I’ll get through it eventually.

I’m nearly finished with my rewatch of Little Witch Academia, leaving off on one episode to go after Monday.  I overall enjoyed the show more on this rewatch compared to the first (which I think was largely the language barrier on that first watch compared to now when I can actually understand everything), and I’m disappointed that in the intervening years between that watch and now that Little Witch Academia is probably “finished.”  Or, at least, it seems unlikely that there will ever be more official show that comes out, seeing as the project people have all largely moved on.  Which is disappointing.  And no, I’m not just saying that because I ship Diakko super hard, which I do, I’d just like more content in general.

With no more Little Witch Academia to watch pretty soon here, I’m left with a scheduling gap again, which I think I might fill by returning to Gravity Falls, which I’d started a while ago having never seen it, then sort of wandered away from, not for a fault on the show itself, but just because of different watch priorities for me.  I’ve been meaning to get back to it, and there’s nothing leaping out at me, so might be worth continuing that viewing.  Might get more into it this time and be driven to finish it.

I have another three day weekend at the end of this coming week thanks to New Year’s, so I imagine the numbers on that blog will largely resemble the numbers on this one.  I’m gonna try to end 2020 on a high note, at least as far as these blogs are concerned, and enter 2021 from a place of optimism.  Hope 2020 hasn’t treated you too terribly, and you have a healthy and prosperous new year.  TTFN.
