Not a lot happened this week in general, and I once again don’t have much to say.  I finished the Kiwillius playthrough I was watching, then immediately started in on another, so I’ll have the average day’s viewing on lockdown for a while.  I’m gearing up for a couple of tv releases that should be coming to Disney+ soon, the newest season of Ducktales, which is supposed to end soon, and The Owl House, a newer show that I’ve heard lots of queer-positive things about and have been dying to check out.  The latter has a definitive release date on the platform of October 30, which is about the time the former is set to finish its season on network tv and thus should hopefully be available shortly after.  In the meantime, solid chance I’ll drift back to Gravity Falls for a while or something.  I wax and wane with actual tv shows all the time, and seems like it’s about due.

I am in the super-duper home stretch with El Ojo del Mundo now, with perhaps two days left to go before I finish it.  It took a little while to get going for me, but I’ve ended up quite liking it, and will be interested in reading through the whole series.  I am, however, planning on taking a brief break between this book and El Despertar de los Héroes as a palate cleanser, both because these books are freakin’ long, and also because I’ve had a growing desire to go back and reread El Asombroso Mauricio y sus Roedores Sabios, one of the one-off books in Discworld that cemented itself as one of my absolute favorites.  It will be a nice change of pace not only in subject matter, but also because it’s on the shorter side of things, so I shouldn’t be off on that tangent for too long.  I don’t want to leave La Rueda del Tiempo to grow moss or anything.

You’ll notice a distinct slowdown in the reported numbers for time spent on Toki Pona this week, and that was by design.  I’ll go into it more next week as part of the main blog topic, but the short version is that I’ve been finding myself having some resistance to working on it, so I’m not working on it as much.

Anyway, that’ll do for this one, next week we’ll go through September as a whole.  Wild as heck to think the year’s about three-quarters over now.  2020’s been a bear.  TTFN.
