A rather solid week in terms of time spent, but a kind of strange one considering what actually happened throughout the week.  I had Monday off thanks to Labor Day here in the states, and took Friday off to enjoy a long weekend and try and recharge from work being pretty demanding lately (side note: I do feel much better now).  The week ended up being pretty great as a result, so no complaints from me.

I finished the binging of Aggretsuko that I started last week, and overall was happy with the third season, though I think the finale fell a little flat.  It felt like there was a lot that ended up getting rushed past to get to the ending they wanted to get to, despite the episode being a bit longer than the normal running length.  It really could have stood to have another episode or so, just to work through the emotional aspect of the ending in more detail, which is normally one of the show’s strengths.  It hardly sunk the season or anything, but it did leave me feeling like it ended on a bit of a cold note.  Hopefully they’ll bounce back in season 4, provided they keep making the show.

Later in the week, Daniel San GMR ended up livestreaming a playthrough of Super Mario 64 for seven hours, so I had a lot of additional material to work my way through with that.  I’m still feeling pretty good at the amount of Spanish listening material that’s regularly available from my subscriptions, so I hope streams like that continue to be fairly regular.

El Ojo del Mundo continues to progress bit by bit over the weeks.  The combination of reading a bit less in general mixed with the book itself being super long has kinda turned this one into a really slow burn.  It’s an enjoyable book, though.  This would be a lot less bearable if it were dry or something.

That should do for this one, keeping stuff short and sweet.  Next week will be another full blog, one written first in Spanish, so I’ll have more to discuss then, I hope.  TTFN.
